Double-hand Poker Game Rules

Now let us discover some different types of poker other than Texas holdem, 7 card stud, 5 card draw and omaha hi-low. Yes, double-hand poker. Now you might be thinking that pai gow sounds a bit Chinese; yes you are right, this card game is a mixture of the Chinese game pai gow and poker
Definitely this is not one of the highly popular forms of poker but still commonly played. It can be enjoyed by up to seven players. It's played with 1 deck of cards, with a joker. Interestingly, joker can be used only as an ace, or to complete a straight, a flush, a straight flush, or royal flush. The essential aspect here to remember is aside from the normal ranking of hands we've an additional winning hand that is "Five Aces" (4 Aces and the Joker). Astonishingly, 5 aces is greater than every other hand yes, even a royal flush. Each player is dealt 7 cards. The cards are aligned to make 2 hands; a 2 card hand and a 5 card hand. The 5 card hand must be stronger or be equal to the 2 card hand.
After arranging the 2 hands, the cards are placed on the poker table face down. Once down, you can't touch them. The croupier will flip over his cards and assemble his hands. Every players hand is compared to the dealer's hands. If the player take 1 hand and lose the other, this is referred to as "push" and no money is lost or won. If croupier wins both hands then the bettor looses their wager and vice versa. Now if the hand is a tie, the croupier wins everything. After the hand is competed, the next person clock-wise gets to be the dealer and the next hand is given out.
